About
The Rooted in Worth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, established in 2022, as an organization dedicated to helping youth and young adults discover that their worth is not connected to acceptance, achievements or accolades, but is instead a product of their existence. We do this in a number of ways; through creating safe spaces for our youth to share the pressures and struggles they are facing; through exposing them to different activities, allowing them to explore and experience first-hand what brings them joy; and through teaching them how to find their inner compass and let that be their guide.
Mission
Our mission is to empower our youth so that they are able to move through life from a place of worth and confidence rather than a place of fear. We want our youth to learn that curiosities are always worth exploring. We encourage a "try to fail vs a fail to try" approach to life. We believe that all of us were born with an inner guidance system that directs us in our mission to discover our purpose, and that we only need to tap into that guidance system to discover our passions and unlock our ultimate joy and potential.
Vision
Our vision is that our youth will learn how to listen to that voice from within and use their inner guidance system to make decisions in the outside world. We want our youth to have the confidence to trust their internal desires and follow those desires, rather than succumbing to external pressures. We want our youth to feel loved, to know they matter, and to realize that worthiness is their birthright. We are all worthy simply because we exist.
